A work that literally appeared to me in a dream. Color composition, image structure, the look … Of course, I didn’t know the exact end result at the beginning. Because each of my works is a small journey of discovery for me. At the beginning, you never know what will happen along the way and what awaits you at the end. This picture was a little different. In my dream, I saw the picture almost finished, or at least very similar.
And so, with this image in my head or in my mind’s eye, I began to create this work layer by layer. To start with, a square was applied to the first layer of paint. This was intended to be enveloped by the other layers of paint. It can still be seen in outline under the many layers.
Colors such as blue, red, orange and violet were used. Gold-colored accents also influence the overall impression. By adding white and black, as well as partially removing and blurring them again, layer after layer of color mixtures and nuances were created.
