Like gray, the monochromatic nature of black exudes a certain elegance and depth despite its simplicity. Black – this pure color is often a symbol of the unknown, frightening and/or particularly interesting. The light refracts on the visible structures of the brushstrokes and, depending on the incidence of light, appears almost three-dimensional.
This work was created using a new technique or approach. For the artist, not only does the portfolio of artworks grow, but a change of style opens up new experiences and the diversity increases. This work is possibly the first in a series.
