Like gray, the monochromatic nature of black exudes elegance and depth despite its simplicity. Black – often a symbol of the unknown – is frightening and/or becomes particularly interesting precisely because of this.

The light refracts on the visible structures of the brushstrokes and, depending on the incidence of light, appears almost three-dimensional. The work was created using a new technique or approach. For the artist, not only does the portfolio of artworks grow, but a change of style opens up new experiences and diversity increases.
