Whiteout is a work that emerged from an earlier painting. The older work was painted over in many layers, but the old layers of paint still flash out here and there, deliberately kept in white. Despite the reduction to a mainly white surface, the structures, textures and multiple layers create an interesting pictorial impression. An invitation to your own imagination.
