Behind the gray it gets colorful

During the process of creating it, I thought of breaking out of the dark days that lie behind me. Thinking further into the objectively visible, one could see it from two sides.

Is it the uncovering, destruction or tearing open of the gray and the dreary from the outside? This could be tantamount to help from the outside for those who are behind a gray, almost insurmountable wall.
Or is it the regaining of one’s own freedom – to tear down the gray wall with one’s own strength and drive? In many an agonizing past, I would have wished for this strength. Art has become a wonderful tool for me.

As always, this observation – or completely different interpretations – are entirely up to the viewer. For me, there is always something fascinating about gray; thoughts have more freedom in gray in relation to art.
