Red, blue, yellow, white and black combine to create a colorful spectacle. The many layers of color, the blurring and the partial removal of the paint always result in new interesting sights and details that are waiting to be discovered.

Inspired by “Moonlit Night”:

“It was as if the sky had
Kissed the earth in silence,
That in the shimmer of blossoms
Must now dream of him.

The air passed through the fields,
The ears of corn waved gently,
The woods rustled softly,
So starry was the night.

And my soul stretched
Wide its wings out,
Flew through the silent lands,
As if it were flying home.”

From “Mondnacht”, 1837 by Joseph von Eichendorf, German poet, 1788-1857.
